ETHIOPIAN MEKELLE BRASS CROSS NECKLACE
This piece is based on an Ethiopian Mekelle brass cross. The cross sits between 18th century red ''white heart” beads on a leather thong, and is a beautiful marriage between old and new. The red heart beads were made in Bohemia and historically used as currency in West Africa.
